Kenwyne Will Come Good - QuinnSunderland Chairman Niall Quinn has called on the clubs supporters to be patient with striker Kenwyne Jones in his bid to beat the drought that has hit his goal-scoring form. ![]() His Trinidad & Tobago international front man is currently stuck on seven goals for the campaign but the former Black Cats striker believes that the 24-year old is still recovering from the knee ligament injury sustained during the summer and will take time to re-discover his best form. "Kenwyne is still finding his way," Quinn said, “He was amazing at times but people should remember he had a very serious injury, and I know exactly what that is like trying to come back from injury, and it does take time.” The international break has been used by Ricky Sbragia to scout potential future signings in Europe. He has already noted several players who would enhance his squad but is using the opportunity to take another look at some. “We have earmarked players we feel we could bring in during the summer“ said Sbragia, “It's just a case of going to have a look at them two or three times before we make a decision."
