Keane Accepts Abuse

A growing list of senior players and managers have called for the Football Association to act on crowd abuse at matches. Sol Campbell joined a list including Sir Alex Ferguson, Avram Grant and Harry Redknapp all who have complained about crowd behaviour.

Spurs striker Keane however believes crowd behavior is not such an issue in the Premier League.

"Verbal abuse - I've had it, but nothing that would make me go crazy.

"I don't know what has been said to Sol. It obviously must have been something that really upset him for him to ask the FA to intervene."

"Fans say things they don't really mean. It's a spur of the moment thing, getting a little bit of stick here and there doesn't hurt anyone”.
