Kamara Progress Boosts Hodgson

Roy Hodgson’s Fulham received some good news in respect of the progress of injured Senegal international Diomansy Kamara.

Kamara suffered a knee ligament injury representing his country in a World Cup qualifier and has yet to play this season. He suffered a set-back and had a further minor operation but latest reports indicate that he will be back in Premiership action sooner rather than later.

Whilst the former Portsmouth and West Brom player - a £6M signing in July 2007 - will make a welcome return to the squad at Craven Cottage, his team mates have improved their previous seasons performance lying what is currently a comfortable mid-table position. Hodgson will anticipate Kamara’s return as a chance to consolidate Premiership safety well before the last day of the season.
