Kamara Expects Christmas Return

Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara expects to be fit and available for first team selection by the start of the forthcoming busy Christmas period.

The former Portsmouth and West Bromwich Albion striker has been out of action since July after undergoing surgery to cure a knee problem. His return would provide manager Roy Hodgson with a much needed extra option up front.

The 27 year old said “It's going very well, I'm two or three months away from playing so I'm happy with the way the rehabilitation is going…I need to work on my fitness but I'm doing bike work and running - everything to get my fitness up”.

Kamara joined Fulham from West Brom in 2007 for £6 Million. He has made 28 appearances for the Cottagers and scored 5 times.
