Juventus line up busy transfer window

Reports from the Italian media suggest ‘Serie A’ giants Juventus are in for a busy transfer window this January, with rumours surrounding several potential transfer targets as well as numerous current players who are hopeful of a way out of Turin this season.

Werder Bremen’s Diego is being billed as Juve’s top target this winter after the star’s father was seen in Turin a few weeks ago.

Tuttosport claims that La Bianconeri have already agreed a deal with the midfielder, and are awaiting Werder Bremen to agree to a fee before any deal can be reached. The Italian paper goes on to claim that Diego has been quoted as saying he has always dreamed of playing for Juventus.

Juve are also rumoured to be interesting in signing Valencia star winger Joaquin, after La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed sporting director Alessio Secco flew to Valencia to hold talks with the club over the player.

Joaquin has a clause in his contract that would allow him to leave for €40 million, though the Italian giants are hoping to slash the price in half to land the star.

Meanwhile, Tiago has blasted Juventus by telling press he should have never joined the club, though the Portuguese midfielder still hopes to make an impact in his time at the Old Lady.

"It was a mistake leaving Lyon to come to Juventus," Tiago told Portuguese television. “I thought that coming here would have been a step forward joining a big squad but it didn't go the way I had hoped.

And finally, Sebastian Giovinco’s agent has revealed that the hot prospect will not leave Juventus, despite strong rumours linking the star with a move away from the club, especially with reports of Juve targeting Werder Bremen’s Diego.

"There are no truths in reports suggesting Giovinco will be leaving," Pasqualin told Goal.com."Giovinco is a talent, he is a Juventus player and he will stay there.
