Okazaki Calls For History

A win over Paraguay in the second round of World Cup 2010 will create history for Japan and the squad is capable of doing it, according to striker Takeshi Okada.

Okada scored Japan’s third goal in their impressive win over Denmark and the 24 year-old sees no reason why they cannot go further despite Paraguay being their first South American opposition in South Africa. “We didn’t have a South American team in our group and I expect there will be fiercer talking for the ball and the most important this is that we don’t lose those battles” he said, We have been winning those battles and that is how we have got this gar. If we stay confident then I think we can keep winning.”
