England goalkeeper David James has moved to quickly end speculation suggesting that he is on the verge of a move to Tottenham Hotspur to link up with former manager Harry Redknapp.

James has enjoyed a successful spell at Portsmouth that has seen him collect an FA Cup winner’s medal and re-establish himself as England’s number one. Speaking recently, he said “As far as I'm concerned I'm here at Portsmouth and happy at Portsmouth…I've still got another two years left. So I'm happy to see those two years through”.

The 38 year old joined Portsmouth from Manchester City in 2006 and has now made 85 appearances for the club.
