Massimo Moratti, president of Inter Milan has denied media reports that former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is set to become the new coach of the club.

Jose Mourinho’s advisor/agent had spoke of Mourinho’s trip to Milan last week to talk to Inter about becoming the new coach of the club and replacing current manager Roberto Mancini at the end of the season.

A day after his advisor spoke of the trip Mourinho claimed he never went to Milan to speak to Inter and that he would not be joining the club at the end of the season.

Moratti has also said that Mourinho did not speak to the club and that they have not approached him either. He also admits that it is the first he has heard of the story.

Moratti said that the story is not true but it has somehow made headline news and is attracting a lot of attention. He added that he reads about these sorts of rumours everyday and is growing tired of them but he said you just have to get on with life and not pay too much attention to the stories.

Current Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini had said he will leave the club at the end of the season after he saw his team knocked out of the Champions League by Liverpool but changed his mind the following day.
