Blackburn Rovers manager Paul Ince has discovered that influential midfielder Vince Grella will miss the next month of the season through injury.

The experienced Australian international sustained damage to his hamstring in the recent 2-0 defeat to Chelsea at Ewood Park. Now after tests from the club’s medical doctors the news has been confirmed to Ince. The setback is the latest in a series of niggling injuries that the 29 year old has picked up since joining Blackburn in the summer.

Vince Grella made his debut in August but was unfortunate to pick up an injury that prevented the former Torino man from playing again for the next eight weeks. As a result he has only managed to make four appearances for his new club to date.
