Hull City have announced that they will sign defender Steven Mouyokolo.

 

However, the 22 year-old Frenchman will join from Boulogne in the summer for an as-of-yet undisclosed fee and the French second tier club are still in with a shout of promotion and want to retain Mouyokolo’s services until the end of the season. Tigers boss Phil Brown was initially understood to have made enquiries about Roma and former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise but was priced out of the race.

Mouyokolo is the second player lured to the KC this week, Hull having broken their transfer record to land Jimmy Bullard from Fulham.
