Owen Hargreaves is on his way to Old Trafford and joins the Premiership champions Manchester United in an estimated £18 million deal. His move from German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich however appears to be the first of many planned by United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Leading media sources claim that Manchester United have 3 more players lined up to add to their squad. They include Southampton defender Gareth Bale, La Liga striker Fernando Torres and winger Nani from Sporting Lisbon. Ferguson has also cast his eye over Spurs duo Aaron Lennon and Dimitar Berbatov but it is unlikely that Spurs would be willing to sell.
