Brazil, Portugal and Ivory Coast all have a great chance of progressing to the next stage while surprise qualifiers North Korea will be keen to replicate their maiden appearance in the World Cup and go on another strong run in the competition.

Though Brazil are expected to qualify to the next round, Dunga’s side have not impressed in the qualifying campaign and managed to finish at the top of the table by a solitary point. While Brazil failed to hit top form during the qualifying campaign, both Portugal and Ivory Coast too have struggled for form.

A poor start to the qualifying campaign almost saw Portugal miss out on a place in the World Cup but a timely return to form saw them finish second in the table before beating Bosnia and Herzegovina in the play-offs.

Ivory Coast on the other hand had a disappointing African Nations Cup campaign, losing out to Algeria in the quarter finals which led to the dismissal of Vahid Halilhodzic. Sven Goran Eriksson took over in March and the former England manager will be hopeful that his side can put up a good performance and upset the odds by qualifying to the knockout stage.
