Chelsea manager Avram Grant has denied that Chelsea are trying to sign Brazilian midfield dynamo Diego.

It has being reported by several sources that Chelsea are watching the Werder Bremen midfielder and they were also linked with him in the summer. They have denied any rumours of them making a bid for him this summer.

The Brazilian play maker has being in great form for Werder Bremen and will no doubt catch the attention of several big named clubs between now and the end of the season.

Chelsea manager Avram Grant spoke about the news and said that Chelsea have being linked with so many players in recent months and it is impossible to talk about each player we are linked with. He added that there is no interest from Chelsea in Diego, but he is a good player but not one we are looking to buy any time soon.
