After some unsuccessful spells, which included a short-lived time at Fenerbahce, Inler played a key role for Zurich in their Swiss championship triumph three years ago. ![]() His assured performances in midfield caught the attention of several clubs across the continent, with Inler deciding on a move to Udinese where he quickly established himself as a first-team regular. The midfielder is known to have admirers in the Premier League, with Arsenal thought to have been interested in the past. Inler and the rest of his team-mates will be desperate to make up for Sweden’s dreadful Euro 2008 campaign, made worse by crashing out in such dire circumstances on home soil.
