Giovanni Insisted Club’s Priorities Are Unchanged

Brazilian striker Giovanni has been speaking about Hull City’s good start to life in the Premier League and has moved to remind supporters that the club’s number one priority is still to stay in the division, despite some impressive victories already this season.

Hull’s form has seen them lose just once so far and they currently sit in third place in the table with victories away at Newcastle United, Arsenal and Tottenham. Giovanni whose goals have played an important part in those victories said “The main thing in our minds is still that we stay up and avoid relegation…It's a strong league and there's a long way to go. After December we will know more about where we can finish this year”.

Giovanni signed for Hull in the summer after spending just one season at Manchester City. The 28 year old is pleased with his decision. He said “When I came here, the supporters were asking me if Hull would stay in the Premier League…I told them right away, yes they will”.
