Gera Pleased With Move To Cottagers

Hungarian winger Zoltan Gera has expressed his pleasure at his decision to leave West Bromwich Albion in the summer. The 29 year old spent four seasons at the Hawthorns before finally moving to London to join Fulham on a free transfer.

Speaking prior to the recent Premier League meeting between the two clubs, Gera said “Before the end of last season I knew I wanted to change and go to another club…I had played four good years at West Brom… so I just wanted to change and see some new faces”.

Since Gera arrived at Craven Cottage, he has been a part of a team that has had a mixed campaign so far. A surprise defeat to newly promoted Hull City was following by an impressive 1-0 home victory over Arsenal. Gera will be hoping to add some consistency to his new team as the season progresses.
