Spain’s star forward Fernando Torres has been attracting attention from a lot of clubs around Europe. Liverpool seemed favourites to snap up the Atletico Madrid star a couple of days ago, but now Inter Milan and Manchester City have jumped in on the bandwagon to sign the 23 year old striker. A price tag of 26 million pounds has been slapped on Torres by his current club. Liverpool are expected to pay 20 million in cash while Sanz Luis Garcia is expected to move to Atletico.

In other news, Rozenhal has completed 2.9 million move to the Magpies. Also, Premiership newcomers Derby County have broken the bank for a club record 3.5 million move for Welsh international Robert Earnshaw. Earnshaw has previously played in the Premiership for the likes of West BromNorwich City and has a proven goalscoring record. and
