Fifa called in on TevezMan U supremo David Gill has called on Fifa to intervene in the Carlos Tevez saga. The 23 year old Argentine international returned from the Copa America tournament to Manchester where he was scheduled to have a medical. However, West Ham refused permission for the medical to take place throwing another spanner in the works for the planned transfer. Both clubs are now pushing for the case to be rushed through Fifa in order that a resolution can be reached prior to the start of the new season. Originally Manchester United had planned that Carlos Tevez would be an integral part of the team during their asian tour. While the Premier League stand by their end of season decision and therefore side with West Ham, legal documentation surrounding the player states that Tevez is the property of Joorabchian.
