Alex Ferguson criticized the English Premier League administration after Manchester United’s exit from the UEFA Champions League at the hands of AC Milan with a 3-0 defeat at the San Siro. The Manchester United manager was full of praise for the Serie A team but then turned his tongue on the domestic administration.

Ferguson is unhappy at playing so many games in quick succession. After Wednesday nights exit from the Champions League semi final the English Premier League leaders now face a Manchester derby on Saturday. Given that the team will only return from Italy today it does not give them a great deal of time for rest or preparation. Victory for Manchester United at the weekend against Manchester City together with a loss for Chelsea would hand the title to United Ferguson’s ninth.
