Fergie Denies Harry Wembley ReturnManchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was delighted with his sides come-from-behind victory against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. ![]() United progressed through to the fifth round of the FA Cup despite conceding an early goal via a glancing Pavlyuchenko header. The early shock brought the Europeans Champions to life but they had to wait until half an hour later before Paul Scholes shot appeared to take a lucky deflection off Huddlestone to draw them level. Less than 90 seconds later, two Spurs old boys combined to put United ahead, Dimitar Berbatov latching onto Michael Carrick’s through ball to fire home. There was to be no comeback for Harry Redknapp’s team and he will not be repeating last years walk onto the Wembley pitch in May unless he leaves White Hart Lane and takes over at another club. Sir Alex on the other hand will continue his drive on four fronts (Premiership, Champions League, Carling & FA Cups) and, with one Wembley final already guaranteed, the odds will be shortening on a double.
