FIFA Warn LA GalaxyFIFA have warned American club LA Galaxy from attempting to prevent new signing David Beckham playing in international friendlies. David Beckham was named last week in the England squad selections as Steve McClaren recalled the star for Friday’s match against Brazil. The general manager of Los Angeles Galaxy Alexi Lalas wishes to release Beckham only in the case of competitive international matches. However, the ruling body insists that if Beckham is picked for his country then he must be made available by the club to play. LA Galaxy have hit the world map by signing one of the most famous names in football. Before the player has even arrived they have sold 1,000s of extra season tickets and Beckham merchandise.
