Everton 2-4 Man Utd

Manchester United’s form and title challenge looked in danger when Everton went 2 up at Goodison Park. Alan Stubb’s put the home side ahead after a 12th minute free kick was deflected in by United’s Michael Carrick.

The scoreline remained unchanged until the 50th minute when Fernandes doubled Everton’s lead with a top corner strike. John O’Shea managed to half the lead after a defensive error and United then drew level courtesy of an embarrassing own goal by Phil Neville. Wayne Rooney made it 3-2 before Chris Eagles secured the points for the league leaders sealing the win at 4-2.

The result coupled with Chelsea’s home draw means Manchester United move 5 points clear in the English Premier League with only 3 games to play. Although Manchester United have to play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge it looks likely that they will claim the title. You can watch Manchester United online with live football streams direct to your PC.
