English domination in Europe continued last night as Liverpool joined both Manchester United and Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League semi finals. Liverpool settled for a 1-0 win over PSV Eindhoven with a comfortable 4-0 on aggregate over the 2 legs. The tie was pretty much done and dusted before the second leg but Liverpool put in a solid performance to continue their run of form. The only goal of the match came from Peter Crouch as he swiftly turned in a clever cross from Fowler.

Such domination in Europe is almost unheard of. However, the fact that at least 1 English team will reach the Champions League final is just deserves for a thrilling season of English Premiership football.

In the UEFA Cup Tottenham still fly the flag. Spurs go into their second leg at home trailing 2 goals to 1 against Sevilla.
