Often dubbed the greatest team never to have won the World Cup, the Netherlands have achieved nothing yet according to coaches Phillip Cocu and Frank De Boer.

 

Having breezed through Group E with maximum points after three wins, the Dutch squad is can still look forward to the return of a fully fit Arjen Robben yet neither coach is talking up their chances of finally lifting the World crown. Cocu said “It all has to do with focusing on your target. You can celebrate reaching a quarter or semi-final but it is all about winning the final.”

Robben himself was delighted to get back to action albeit for only twenty minutes against Cameroon and the Bayern Munich star even managed to hit the post. He said “I’m very, very happy. I think you know how hard I worked for this, so to be out there was very special for me.”
