Bolton striker El Hadji Diouf has revealed that he will quit the club in the summer, regardless of whether they stay up or not.

Bolton are fighting for their life at the bottom of the Premier League and find themselves four points adrift of safety.

Diouf who has a year left on his existing contract has made it clear that when the season finishes he will leave the club, whether they are in the Premier League or the Championship.

Diouf said that if Bolton stay up or are relegated I will be leaving. There are teams who want to sign me and I will move to another club quietly and peacefully.

Diouf revealed that there are five football clubs chasing him. He has admitted he wants to stay and play football in England but hasn’t ruled out a move to Spain or Italy.

Diouf added that he has been watched by five clubs most weeks when playing for Bolton. He didn’t reveal the identity of the clubs and said that he wants to surprise everyone. He finished by saying that he would love to stay in England ideally but wouldn’t rule out a switch to Italy or Spain.

He is still dedicated to stopping Bolton from being relegated but will leave at the end of the season regardless of The Trotters league status.
