Lassana Diarra, the Portsmouth midfielder has refused to discuss the constant rumours that have surfaced linking him with a move to Real Madrid.

 

In the last week newspaper rumours have suggested that the Spanish giants are on the verge of sealing a £20 million transfer for the former Arsenal and Chelsea youngster.

The French international said “I cannot say anything, really. You have to respect me. I will talk inside a few days, now I cannot say anything”.

Diarra signed for Portsmouth in January from Arsenal for an undisclosed fee. He won the FA Cup with Pompey in what looks to be his only year at the Fratton Park outfit.

Manchester City have also recently been strongly linked with Diarra.
