Dabo seeks legal actionManchester City midfielder Ousmane Dabo is seeking legal action over team-mate Joey Barton’s actions at the City training ground on Tuesday. Dabo was left unconscious by the attack from Barton and required hospital treatment. City responded to the incident by banning Barton until the end of the season and fining him 4 weeks wages the equivalent of £100,000. This is not an incident which will go away and we doubt that the 2 players will be seen on the same team again. Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce says the incident will not effect City’s preparations going into an important home Manchester derby on Saturday. He stated that the event would be appropriately dealt with at the end of the season by the club’s board. Tags: Manchester City, Manchester derby Posted: 3rd May 2007 |
