Croatia will be a challenge : BallackWith both Germany and Croatia battling for a place in the quarter finals, Germanys’ captain Michael Ballack reveals that he feels the team will know their true capacity after the up-coming game against the Croatians. "It is a different task. Croatia want to be European champions and they beat England twice, which is no easy feat," said Ballack. The Chelsea midfielder admits that his team will have to face harder opponents in the upcoming matches, and is keen for Germany to play well.
Ballack also said that he was satisfied with his team’s first performance, but knows that they will have to raise their game to get through the tournament. The team was strong in that match, did not break their lines and had a good, hard defence.
‘We will be more challenged and we cannot make mistakes. We want to go into the final and we will have to improve,’ said a confident Ballack.
