Coyle Keen To Keep JackBolton boss Owen Coyle is eager to try to and secure the services of on-loan Arsenal starlet Jack Wiltshere for next season. Arsene Wenger allowed the player to move to the Reebok in January in a bid to give him much-needed regular first team experience. Coyle was delighted to get him and the teenager has rewarded Bolton with some fine performances. Even following the heavy 4-0 reverse against Manchester United, Coyle was still full of praise for the young England player. “If Arsene Wenger wants to give him to me for another year, I’d be delighted” he said, “That’s a conversation for the summer”. He went on “He (Wilshere) was terrific and showed a mature head on young shoulders. It’s great for us now and Arsenal and England in the future”.
Meanwhile, the Trotters Korean star Chung-Yong Lee has been linked with a potential move to Anfield by the media in his home country. However, Bolton fans will be relieved to hear that the player’s agent thinks an enhanced deal at the Reebok is much more likely. “The link is in a word absurd” was the comment. The former FC Seoul man is focussed on becoming a first team regular at Bolton and the club’s Premier League survival appears to remain his major concern. Tags: Bolton, Owen Coyle, Trotters Posted: |
