One big money signing who City landed last year has proven his worth according to boss Mark Hughes is Robinho. Despite a slow start and rumours of the Brazilian being unhappy, Hughes says that the £32.5M man is having a great season. "We are delighted for him that he is scoring again. He's had a great season," Hughes said. "He has had criticism on occasions but when he has an effect on games, he is a joy to watch.” As the rumour mill gets a full head of steam before the summer, Everton’s Mikel Arteta is also being touted as a future City signing with the Spaniard, currently out injured for the season, said to be the target of a transfer bid of anything up to £25M.
