Its official now. Its eight. Yes, Manchester City made their eighth signing of the season in Bulagrian forward Valeri Bojinov. Bojinov, 21, was signed from Fiorentina for 5.5 million pounds. Bojinov has passed a medical at City but is yet to to be granted work-permit. Bojinov joins his compatriot Martin Petrov at Eastlands as the Manchester City revolution continues to gain momentum.

Bojinov is a highly experienced player for his age. The Bulgaria international made his Seria A debut at the tender age of 15 with Lecce and has never looked behind since.  Last season, he spent the second half on loan at Juventus. But he could not get enough games. Also, Fiorentina were willing to offload him after signing Italian striker Christian Vieri. City are going strong !
