Chopra and Milner

Michael Chopra and James Milner have a couple of things in common. One: they are both England Under 21 internationals. Two: Both have them have played for Newcastle United. And quite recently both have signed new transfer deals. Chopra has transferred to Roy Keane led Sunderland while Milner ended a lot of speculation about his future by extending his contract at Tyneside.

Chopra scored 22 goals for Cardiff in the Championship last year but Cardiff failed to make the big leap into the Premiership after leading the table initially. Sunderland were forced to shell out 5 million pounds for the striker who has put pen to paper on a four year contract.

Meanwhile, Milner has signed a new deal which will see him stay at Newcastle for four more years. Milner has been unable to break into England’s first team and consistent performances for the Magpies will see him wearing the Three Lions on his chest.
