Chile played some decent football in their opening game against Honduras and there’s no indication they’ll change their style – even against the Spanish.

In fact they will probably relish that clash the most because both teams put a lot of emphasis on possession football and it should be one of the more pleasing games to watch at the World Cup.

By that stage Chile could be through to the knockout stage or desperately trying to get a result – but it’s unlikely they’ll change their principles either way.

It could all come down to what they do against Switzerland, who might be tempted to park the bus. That throws up the challenge of breaking down stubborn opposition, but if they stick to their beliefs and overcome the Swiss a place in the last 16 will be deserved.
