Veteran defender Sol Campbell has signed a new 2 year contract to keep him at Fratton Park. The 32 year old has made 36 appearances so far for Portsmouth since his move from Arsenal. He was also recently recalled to the England squad but later ruled out through injury.

Captain Campbell has put pen to paper after protracted negotiations on the new deal. He is said to be delighted with the new contract and believes the club is moving forward in the English Premier League.
