Busy Day At The CottageFulham boss Roy Hodgson defied the weather conditions to make the most of the transfer window before it closed.
Former Everton and Leeds United midfielder Olivier Dacourt has signed on loan from Inter Milan for the remainder of the 2008/9 season. Out of favour at the San Siro under Jose Mourinho, the 34 year-old will add experience to a midfield which also sees Danny Murphy committed for a further 18 months. It was Murphy’s goal on the final day last season that secured another year of top flight football at Craven Cottage. Coventry City winger Julian Gray will also remain in London until the end of the season and he will be rejoined by defender Elliott Omozusi who has returned from a loan spell at Norwich. Agreement to terminate the loan was reached when Australian Adrian Leijer was allowed to move to Carrow Road until the summer, becoming the second Fulham player in a week to step down a level, Andranik Teymourian having joined Barnsley.
