Bullard Hope To Stay At Craven CottageJimmy Bullard is hopeful that he will be able to continue his spell at Fulham by extending his current contract. Over the last few weeks there have been several reports surfacing that suggested that his manager Roy Hodgson was unhappy with the contribution that Bullard have been making to the team. However, Bullard is quick to show his loyalty to the club.
He said “I'd love to stay… I've got 18 months on my current deal but I'm in talks with the club and hope to get it sorted”.
Bullard moved to Fulham in 2006 from Wigan Athletic, but his early career at Craven Cottage from cut short by a cruciate knee ligament injury that kept him on the sidelines for around 16 months. Since his return, he has played a major role in keeping Fulham in the Premier League, particularly last season.
