Nicolas Anelka is on the shopping list for Avram Grant this month. He is one of a number of players Chelsea have shortlisted for a move to Stamford Bridge. However, Bolton have turned down a £12m bid for the frontman.

Anelka has been linked with a move for some time despite signing a new 4 year contract back in August. The 28 year old is expected to make the move to Chelsea when an improved offer is tabled. The French international has made no secret of his desire to play Champions League football and is still eligible to play in the competition this season.
