Chelsea are continuing talks with stars Frank Lampard and John Terry as the club look to secure new contracts with the pairing. Both have 2 years remaining on their current contracts but the club are eager to extend the deal. While the talks have progressed amid media speculation the club through chief executive Peter Kenyon has insisted the players are not for sale under any circumstance.

Both players have yet to put pen to paper on a new deal despite talks being reported since the end of last season. Both players have also been linked with top European clubs such as Barcelona in a possible move away from the English Premier League. Peter Kenyon has spoken liberally regarding the need for Chelsea to keep hold of its stars whilst building their squad. Terry and Lampard are both long term fixtures and Chelsea and have played a key role in the success of the Stamford Bridge club during recent years.
