Chile manager Marcelo Bielsa has insisted his side will not underestimate outsiders Honduras in their opening World Cup clash.

European champions Spain are strong favourites to win Group H, while the Chileans are expected to battle it out with Switzerland for second place that would clinch a spot in the last 16 of the tournament.

Few are expecting Central American qualifiers Honduras, making only their second appearance in the finals, to cause too much of a problem, although Bielsa believes it would be a costly mistake to take them lightly.

He said: “They also have players playing in England and other European countries. There is no weak team.”
