New Spurs manager Juande Ramos has issued a hands off warning ruling out the possibility of star striker Dimitar Berbatov leaving the club during the upcoming transfer window.

The 26 year old Bulgarian has attracted a number of admirers following his form in his debut campaign at Spurs. Berbatov scored 23 times in the 06-07 season and is looking to repeat the same performance this year.

Big names including Sir Alex Ferguson are reportedly interested in the player. However, Ramos wishes to keep the player at White Hart Lane as he looks to rebuild the team and challenge for Europe.

"Dimitar for us is a player who is not for sale. It will be very difficult, very complicated for anyone to take him."
