Denmark and Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is confident of winning his race to be fit to face the Dutch on Monday’s in their opening game. After being out for more than a month with a groin injury, he trained with the squad and is looking good to lead the line. The 22 year-old had been training alone to regain fitness in time for the start of South African 2010 and his efforts appear to have paid off.

 

Defender Simon Kjaer has also returned to full training and it will be almost a full strength squad from which coach Morten Olsen can choose.
