A combination of niggling injuries has kept David Beckham sidelined during his spell at LA Galaxy in the MLS. 32 year old Beckham has suffered from knee and ankle injuries and spent much of his time as a spectator. On the pitch his teammates have been turning their season around after going 6 games unbeaten.

Beckham has now returned to training and been declared fully fit by medical staff. However, with the success of team mates in recent games he has been informed that he is no longer guaranteed a place in the first team. LA Galaxy are now set to claim what initially was an unlikely place in the end of season play offs.
