Barcelona vice President Ferran Soriano has quashed any talk of an exit from the club for Samuel Eto’o. After the recent signing of Thierry Henry it was suggested that Eto’o would be on his way to Arsenal. 26 year old Eto’o has also been linked to a number of Premiership clubs in addition to Champions League winners AC Milan.

The Cameroon international’s involvement with Barcelona came into question during the course of last season. Long bouts of injury were not helped by reported run ins with manager Rijkaard and team mate Ronaldinho. Liverpool were believed to have been interested in Eto'o, whose Barcelona future came into question after run-ins with manager Frank Rijkaard and team-mate Ronaldinho last season. AC Milan had already publically stated that Eto’o was a key target in the transfer window.
