AC Milan goalkeeper Dida has faced worldwide criticism following his actions at Celtic Park in the midweek UEFA Champions League game. The Brazilian keeper was stretchered off the pitch after overreacting following a confrontation with a supporter.

Dida collapsed dramatically after being tapped on the face by a Celtic fan towards the end of the live champions league match. Dida’s collapse also led to the player being substituted a decision UEFA have asked for clarification on.  While Dida faces criticism from many quarters his manager Ancelotti continues his support for the player:

Ancelotti said: "In the last few years Dida has shown great sportsmanship, but he made an error, I do not know why. He has made a mistake, but that is that."
