Rangers Cypriot midfielder Georgios Efrem is reported to be under the keen eye of Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson. The 19-year old is currently on loan at Dundee and is impressing with his performances.

 

The Cyprus U21 international is also being tracked by rival Premiership sides Bolton and Middlesbrough and having spent his formative days in Arsenal’s youth side, his pedigree is undoubted. However, whether he will ultimately be able to produce the goods in the hustle and bustle of the English top flight is still as of yet unproven.

Current Cottager Olivier Dacourt, on loan from Inter until the end of the season, has admitted that his failure to play regular football may result in him calling time on his career and the age of 34. After a cruciate ligament injury in 2007, the former Leeds man it impossible to regain a first team berth at the San Siro and took the chance to return to England in the January transfer window. However, he has not found the starts forthcoming and admits contemplating retirement as a result. "Maybe I will stop my career at the end of the season“ he said, “I came here to have fun during four months. Now I have two months remaining to have fun."
