Vice president of Serie A team AC Milan Adriano Galliani has revealed ambitious aims to sign top names to join their strikeforce. Amongst a bevy of top class strikers Chelsea duo Drogba and Shevchenko have also been mentioned. UEFA Champions League champions Milan have yet to sign a player this summer. Inter and Juventus have both been active in the transfer market. AC are now targeting big names in order to mount a challenge for the Serie A title.

Galliani has claimed that 1 of 5 top class names will make the move to AC Milan. Thise names are Ronaldinho, Shevchenko, Drogba, Eto’o and Pato. Eto’o has just signed a new contract with Barcelona while Ronaldinho carries a £58 million price tag. Shevchenko and Drogba are unlikely to leave Chelsea unless a large offer is received. This leaves 17 year old Brazilian Pato who is with Inter and also incidentally is targeted by Chelsea.
