The Giallorossi’s revival continued last weekend as they secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Udinese to climb to fifth in the league table. Jeremy Menez opened the scoring midway through the first half before Marco Borriello wrapped up a comfortable victory by doubling the lead 11 minutes into the second half.

However the match ended on a sour note for Roma with defender Nicolas Burdisso receiving his marching orders nine minutes before the final whistle.

Palermo too continued their recent good form with a narrow victory over Cesena last weekend. The victory sees the Rosanero climb to seventh in the league table and manager Delio Rossi will be hopeful of extending the winning streak to three games by collecting all three points against Roma this weekend.
