The Giallorossi suffered a shock defeat against Cagliari in their last league game and followed it up with another disappointment against Bayern Munich in their Champions League match. Roma were completely outplayed by last season’s European finalists before the German side grabbed the victory with two goals in the final 12 minutes through Thomas Muller and Miroslav Klose.

Brescia on the other hand will be looking to build on their first win of the new season by collecting at least a point at home to Roma. The newly promoted side bounced back from the defeat in their first game to edge out Palermo in a thrilling 3-2 victory last weekend.

Roma will be missing a number of key players with John Arne Riise, Philippe Mexes, Rodrigo Taddei, Mirko Vucinic and Stefano Okaka doubtful for the game while Brescia have no major injury concerns ahead of the game.
