A seven match unbeaten run which includes six victories has seen Milan open up a six point lead at the top of the table. With none of the other title challengers showing any form of consistency, coach Massimiliano Allegri will be confident of steering the Rossoneri to their first Scudetto title in seven years.

Milan continued their excellent run of form with a comfortable 3-0 win away to Bologna last weekend with Kevin-Prince Boateng, Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all on target for the visitors.

AS Roma on the other hand returned to winnings ways with a narrow 1-0 win over Bari thanks to a first half goal by Juan. The Giallorossi had dropped five points from their previous two games before the victory over Bari and coach Claudio Ranieri will be hopeful that his side can maintain their winning run by collecting all three points at the San Siro this weekend.
