The Rossoneri were denied a fifth successive league win after being held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Sampdoria last weekend. Robinho gave Milan the lead two minutes before the half time whistle by Sampdoria bounced back to equalize through Giampaolo Pazzini and managed to hold out against Milan late in the game.

Milan continue to enjoy a three point lead at the top of the table but with arch rivals Inter thrashing Parma last weekend, coach Massimiliano Allegri will be keen to make sure that his side will not drop any more points this weekend.

Brescia on the other hand will be hoping to build on their excellent defensive display from last weekend and collect another vital point against the league leaders. Brescia are without a league win in their last 10 games and could drop into the relegation zone should they fail to avoid defeat on Saturday.
